Finlay has been a lifelong Broch Supporter, Finlay started to watch the Broch in 1976 and officially started helping when he was invited to tidy up the litter after the match by Jim Adams.
George Malley had been taking Finlay to the games, and after a few months he was promoted to boot cleaner and then kit man. He is still in charge of the kit to this day and says he still takes great pleasure in doing it.
He is also the club rep for the SFA, Highland League and Aberdeenshire FA. Having been a supporter for so long he says he takes great pride representing and speaking up for the club at all of the meetings. He became secretary on the 1st January 2000 having been assistant secretary to Ian Smith for a few years prior to that.
He has many memories of the Broch, both in success and in their failures. He remembers the day when they beat Peterhead 10 - 0 at Peterhead, and the Qualifying Cup and League successes.
